Construction Final Account Software

StoneRise keeps your final account in the same system as your commercial data. No exporting into separate accounting software and losing the variations, dayworks and CVR positions that built it.

How StoneRise carries your commercial position to final account

Variation Register

Live variation register carried through to final account

Every agreed variation, upstream and downstream, is already logged with evidence and value, so the final account is a summary of existing records instead of a reconstruction.

  • Every variation logged with evidence at the time it was agreed
  • Upstream and downstream variations tracked in one register
  • Final account variation summary generated, not rebuilt
  • No chasing paperwork months after the event

Dayworks Sign Off

Dayworks captured and signed off in real time

Dayworks are recorded and approved on site as the work happens, removing the single biggest source of dispute at final account stage.

  • Dayworks sheets recorded and signed on the day
  • Labour, plant and materials captured against the instruction
  • Site supervisor sign off attached to every sheet
  • No disputed dayworks claims reconstructed after the fact
CVR to Final Account Continuity

CVR to final account continuity

The cost and value position tracked throughout the project in the CVR carries directly into the final account, so there is no gap between what was reported monthly and what gets agreed at close out.

  • Monthly CVR position feeds directly into the final account
  • No gap between reported figures and final settlement
  • Margin position visible from CVR through to close out
  • Nothing agreed monthly gets renegotiated at final account

Subcontractor Final Account Workflow

Structured subcontractor final account workflow

Subcontractor final accounts are tracked and progressed in parallel with the main contract, so the main contractor is never negotiating its own account before subcontractor positions are settled.

  • Every subcontractor final account tracked in parallel
  • Progress visible across all packages in one place
  • Main contract account never agreed ahead of downstream positions
  • Nothing left to the final weeks before completion

Purpose-Built for Construction

Built by QSs who ran construction businesses. Not generic software adapted for construction.

Stelios Ioannou and Michael Loizias are qualified quantity surveyors with 10 years running construction businesses before building StoneRise. StoneRise carries what it already knows about a project straight through to final account, rather than starting again from scratch.

Continuity

A summary, not a reconstruction

Every variation and dayworks record is already logged and evidenced, so the final account draws on existing data instead of rebuilding it.

Commercial

Both sides of the account tracked

Upstream client and downstream subcontractor final accounts progress in parallel, so nothing is left until the last few weeks.

Evidence

Nothing agreed on site gets lost

Variations and dayworks agreed on site are captured at the time, not chased months later when memories have faded.

Common questions

Can this help with a project that's already close to completion, or only new projects?

It works best when adopted from the start of a project, but bringing existing variation and cost records onto the platform ahead of final account settlement is still far faster than reconstructing them from scratch.

Does this replace the need for a QS to agree the final account?

No. It gives the QS a complete, evidenced record to negotiate from, so agreement happens faster and with fewer disputes, but the negotiation itself is still a professional judgement call.

Does it integrate with our accounting software for final payment?

StoneRise exports data in formats that work with existing finance setups including Sage, with direct integrations expanding on the roadmap.

Is there any commitment during the demo?

No. The demo walks through your own kind of project data and there's no obligation to commit afterwards.
